Second year under Audi Sport publishing and format remains unchanged. Articles contain very interesting collection of facts and figures of WRC, titled "Did you know". Also included is technical article of four-wheel drive systems and visit to Pikes Peak.
Habit of having advertisements continues but thankfully those are at the very first and very last pages of the book and do not interfere with reading.
Text and majority of the photos are by Martin Holmes, with the exception of chapter titled Favourite Photos. Photos are mainly black and white with occasionally color photo here and there.

Did you know
Four pages of trivia in categories like geography, people, cars, events, teams and national scenes. Very interesting because it covers times when press coverage was scarce and few archives were kept. Unfortunately, some of the trivia suffers from print media problem, becoming obsolete overnight. Categories like the most successful driver or claim that Rally Finland has never been won by other than Finnish or Swedish drivers.
Favourite Photos of
Building on World Rallying 6's Hugh Bishop photo feature, this time Holmes presents favourite photos from seven different rallying photographers. Photographers, all of different nationalities, are introduced and then one photo presented from each. Interestingly, one of them is Willy Weyens who would later start his own series of rallying annuals.
The Total Traction Revolution
At this point, nobody needed to be convinced about the superiority of the four-wheel drive concept. Instead, Holmes explores the changes that 4WD systems have undergone since Audi first entered quattro in 1981 Monte carlo. Comparing the Audi quattro and then-new Peugeot 205T16 illuminates much of the fast pace of technology. Besides this comparison, also scientific and technical challenges are touched. And also the future, which in retrospect is interesting glimpse.
A Week at the Peak
Basically quite useless article about Pikes Peak hillclimb in USA. Enough said.
