Translation of german rallying annual to english and to my knowledge, this is the only such translation made, quite probably to celebrate Rohrl's second world title. Text might have been witty in german but after translation is not any great enjoyment to read. Stories are written by Herbert Volker, Helmut Deimel, Reinhard Klein and Rainer Buttkereit.
Best part of the book are the pictures and that is no wonder, taken by now world-famous photographer Reinhard Klein. Pictures are predominantly in color and include action shots in equal amount to still shots. Two rallye spezials hold large amount of nice pictures, one of scenery and people, the other of rallying's first lady.
Apart from these, the book is a disappointment. Awkward size, no first names in entry list or results, only very brief route information and at places some of the text both in german and english, quite unnecessarily. On a plus side there is the leaderboard table. A difficult to read but it sums up changes in positions of the drivers during the rally, pinpointing time losses and retirements with associated changes in leaderboard throughout the rally.
