Kit Car
Widely used term for certain F2 and Super1600 cars. Instead of buying completed rally car, competitor can buy a body shell and a kit consisting all required parts to turn that shell into a rally car. Regulations about production volumes are also different for kit cars, full production requirement is for base car only and having reached that factory can homologate kit car with only handful of kits, not cars, completed.
