Rear wing
The easiest way to idenfity Kit Car and WRC is the rear wing. Kit Car has very small and simple rear wing while WRC has much bigger, round wing much like Peugeot 206/Ford Focus '03/Skoda Fabia WRC have.
Front mask
Interestingly, Xsara WRC has seen top-level action only in face-lifted version. The T4 prototype existed with old, "narrow eyed" mask, the same that Kit Car had. This version of T4 was rallied in french rallies but never in WRC. The face-lifted, bug-eyed version was the one that debuted in Catalunya 2001.
