Some of the authors depart, leaving Philippe Joubin to write, Pascal Huit to illustrate and Severine Huit to compile statistics and results.

Book gains four pages but that is not visible anywhere. Composition of certain standard features like results are slightly changed.

Millenium

Votes are in for all-time best driver (Rohrl), car (Stratos), and co-driver (Todt). Additionally, Henri Toivonen is selected as the Unforgettable Driver. Voters were 21 top drivers of various times.

Marcus Gronholm

Story of Marcus and his championship winning season spiced with the story of his signing by Peugeot and character judgment.

Happy Birthday Subaru

20 years of Subaru in rallying and still going strong. Extremely short tribute - mostly pictures - and a separate one page article on Simon Jean-Joseph, then a Subaru driver.

Michelin in the Champions(hip?)

The obligatory feature on Michelin, almost an advertisement with snippets on non-WRC activity as well.

The Stars

Identity cards of the top drivers, no longer grouped by teams but in championship order.

The Teams

WRC teams and their cars.
