Rovanpera started his rally career at Latvia as he wasn't old enough to compete in rallies in his native Finland. As he now returned to the scene, he jumped to lead from first stage and extended his lead bit by bit on almost every stage. Speeds were high so differences were small too but Kalle made it look so effortless that it was no wonder that he came home first. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
Ott Tanak

Tanak struggled with fading brakes on first day, losing time and places and finishing first day on lowly 6th place. On next day he improved and gained several places until on SS14 his car came stranded under loose advertisement canvas. Nominal time saw no time loss for that. On final day he charged and got third overall after Sesks had problems on PS. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
Adrian Fourmaux

Star of the M-Sport WRT was unquestionably local here Martins Sesks who won two stages in Friday and held on to podium place until diff problems on final stage. This elevated Fourmaux (pictured) to best M-Sport driver. His good drive was overlooked due Sesks brilliance, but in all honesty Adrien again drove well, fast and sensibly.
