Second year of the new World Rally annual and unlike others, it is in soft-cover format. Otherwise very similar to other two annuals it has articles first, individual rally reports in the middle (complete with entry lists and results) and some odd or even off-topic additions at the end like Paris-Dakar or Mille Miglia.
Overall, not a bad one but soft-cover makes reading experience uncomfortably wobbly. Photography is more akin to big and glossy color photos of Rallycourse than more spartan World Rallying series. Most of the photographs are well chosen and very illustrative, reflecting large quantity of photographers used. Also special mention must be made of the route maps, those are most excellent with pointers and explanations.
Contributors include editor Peter Foubisher but also Esa Lindstrom, Jeremy Walton, Mike McCarthy and Keith Oswin. Photographic sources are varied, ranging from Christopher Taylor, Chris Marsh, Tony North, Thomas Lindberg, Adam Cathersides and Joe Ashworth to support from likes of Jim Bamber, Hugh Bishop and Willy Weyens.

Review of the Year

Technical Review
Jeremy Walton's technical review understandably revolves around the ban of Group B. Starting from early history of Audi quattro and Gr B, having opposition to emerge with inferior, equal or superior designs and all the while pushing the envelope further. Some designs are introduced before focus moves toward Group A designs.
