Ogier went on to win the seventh time in Mexico, surpassing Loeb's record. Initially, he battled with Lappi with whom he had similar road position advantage. After Lappi crashed on Saturday morning, event changed to a controlling excercise which suited Ogier well. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
Thierry Neuville

Neuville wanted to pass Evans to second overall even if that meant taking risks. As team's third driver Lappi was out, Neuville balanced speed and risk perfectly, inching closer to Evans and passing him by mere 0,4 seconds on Power Stage. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
