Initially fastest Hyundai was Mikkelsen, with stunning time on first proper stage but broken gearbox got him. Neuville (pictured) fared less well, he spun on watery ruts and dropped several places. But on final day he came back with vengeance, winning all stages and taking the win in PS shoot-out. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
Sebastien Ogier

Ogier took lead from Mikkelsen with great time in muddy SS6, jumping from fifth to first. He led until the very end and it seemed like his lead would hold but on final stage persistent Neuville managed to beat him and win with slender margin. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
Esapekka Lappi

Toyota's issue was once again their fragility. Tanak was initially fastest of the lot but retired after heavy landing damaged his car. Latvala and Lappi battled for third place and it seemed like veteran would bag it - until his alternator failed, leaving Lappi (pictured) to cruise to home. Mads Ostberg

Citroen had sacked their lead driver Meeke after Portugal, shocking just about everybody. Thus, they had no high hopes from Breen or newly drafted Ostberg and results weren't anything spectacular either. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
