Winged monster, the ultimate car in terms of power.
With front-engine and monocoque chassis it was at disadvantage when compared to middle-engined space frame cars like 205T16 and Delta S4. Audi tried to overcome this disfavourable weight distribution by moving much of equipment to boot. Oil and water cooler but also alternator were located in the rear of the car and thanks to this 52% of the weight remained over front axle compared to 58% in the previous versions.
