Three Toyota drivers held the lead. Rovanpera was first but lost lead after hitting bank and puncturing. Evans inherited lead after that but soon lost it only to regain it again on second day but had to defend it hard from Ogier (pictured). Ogier was relentless and went past on SS11, scoring a full sweep of points (won overall, Sunday and PS points) Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
Adrien Fourmaux

Tanak suffered an engine failure on Friday, rejoined on Saturday to test replacement engine for two stages and tried to score well on Sunday, which did not work out. Fourmaux (pictured) fared better, even led for three stages on Saturday morning but had to bow to pressure from Toyotas. He clung to third overall until the end, keeping ahead of Neuville. M-Sport story was quite usual. McErlean spun and damaged his front end bodywork, which hindered him quite badly until fixed. Munster (pictured) had less trouble but was slow, fighting mainly against Katsuta but lost this battle eventually, finishing eight overall. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
