Sunset for Ogier? No way! He had two small offs and had to really fight for the lead. But when he took the lead, he did not let go off it, finishing first for unprecedented ninth time in Monte Carlo. Just two points shy of maximum score, his 2025 season got to a perfect start. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
Adrian Fourmaux

Fourmaux's career at Hyundai got off to a flying start. He was fast from the start and after both Neuville and Tanak had their off-road incidents in second day, he was best placed Hyundai. He even battled for second overall with Evans but eventually lost that and finished on podium, again, despite Tanak momentarily having passed him on final day. Joshua McErlean

M-Sport's fortunes were quite bleak. Munster benefited from his road position early on and even managed to win one stage, but he retired once with electrical fault and again when he went off. That left newcomer McErlean (pictured) to finish but way behind everyone else. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
