The car that Skoda withdrew to develop with help from Audi. The car that they hoped would turn their fortunes around. The car that was promising - at times - but which in the end was downfall of Skoda Motorsport as works team.
Hours spent in Audi windtunnel are readily apparent from revised aerodynamic solution, most easily observed in new rear wing. That is very similar to that of Citroen Xsara and has changed quite substantially from the original rear wing used in WRC04. Other changes include new turbo, modified exhaust manifold and weight savings all around the car.
