Latvala knew he was expected to play supporting role if Tanak was in position to win and challenge for the title. Latvala started well and momentarily led before letting Tanak to overtake. On final day, Ott hit problems and Latvala capitalized this to score much needed win. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
Hayden Paddon

Hyundai wanted to do well in order to challenge for the both titles. Unfortunately for them, Paddon was only one to finish and thus manufacturers' title went to Toyota and Neuville couldn't challenge Ogier who won drivers' title. Still, Paddon's second place was a good result. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
Mads Ostberg

On first day Ostberg had good road position and he soon took the lead. When road positions evened out second day his lead shrunk and he soon dropped to third which he was unable to better on subsequent days despite Tanak's retirement. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
Sebastien Ogier

Ogier started the rally with just one goal - to make sure of the title. To do that, he needed to finish to beat Tanak and finish higher or next to Neuville to beat him. As it turned out, both rivals hit problems and later retired, leaving Ogier to cruise to finish and to sixth consecutive title. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
