Apart from mildly reshaped front bumper, third evolution of Focus WRC looks almost the same as previous version. One interesting feature is thinner glass on windows, saving eight kilograms of weight but biggest changes were under the skin, mainly on the engine.
Cosworth-tuned engine had new camshaft, increasing stroke by 0,3 millimeters and cubic capacity to 1999cc, up by one cc. Obviously, new pistons were also required. Turbo had ceramic internals to help throttle response.
