Andreas Mikkelsen

Mikkelsen was fastest from the word go and initially he battled hard with Paddon. On second day Andreas fought to retain his lead but at the end of the day lead over Ogier had shrunk to mere seconds. Ogier's charge in final day resulted a spin and Andreas won in his final rally with VW. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
Thierry Neuville

Thierry was second on the road and suffered from sweeping. Also, he drove with second place in championship in mind and as it looked likely that Mikkelsen would win, Thierry would need the third place. When Paddon went wide and destroyed his tyres, third place was Thierry's. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
Mads Ostberg

Ostberg was relatively slow despite his good road position and his final position was just fifth in a rally that may be his last for top team. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
