On the throttle Driver is accelerating ie. applying power.
Opposite lock Corrective action that driver is required to take when car oversteers, front wheels are turned into direction of the slide.
Over time limit A situation when crew exceeds the time limit set for certain action which can be for example time to be at the time control, to start into the stage, going into or leaving from service and so on. Initially crew receives time penalty but if they are too much late and exceed maximum lateness, they are excluded from the rally. Also called OTL.
Overalls Besides crash helmet, crew safety is guaranteed by triple-layer fireproof overalls. Rules require crew to wear overalls at all times during the stage, no matter what the weather is. In the old days it was common that some of the hottest event were contested in mere t-shirt.
Oversteer A situation where car turns more than the driver expects. Many aspects affect to whether car is over- or understeering, like tyre pressure (in the event of puncture), differential settings and so on. There are differences between drivers in how to set up their cars, some like slightly oversteering, other understeering and some neutral set-up.
