Title fight was three way between Evans, Pajari and Solberg. Pajari wasn't fast enough and Evans suffered from sweeping. Showdown on final PS which would decide the title seemed to go Solberg's way as he was very fast and on splits he was ahead. But on penultimate corner he went off and lost enough time to lose title but not rally win.

Sordo crashed both on shakedown and again on Friday, then withdrew due to pains. Neuville crashed on Saturday and returned for Sunday to claim PS points. Only Fourmaux managed throught the rally without crash but even he suffered two punctures which dropped him down the order. It was bitter result given that he had led most of Friday and seemed to be able to score his first win.

M-Sport was basking in the glow of Ford's announcement for WRC return. Unfortunately that did nothing to improve pace of current car. McErlean damaged his front right and incurred penalties which dropped him behind Armstrong (pictured). Armstrong suffered puncture in Friday but otherwise managed better and finished 7th overall.
