Ogier played tactics against team mate Loeb at the end of Day Two which reportedly turned relations icy within the team. Ogier's play paid off as he won.

Petter Solberg didn't play his cards right as he shot into lead in Day One and decided to keep that lead. He was unable to keep up with others and lost the lead next day.

There was one stage run late in the evening but Latvala's rally was mostly very dark. First he had differential problems and next day lost turbo in morning stages.
