Pajari's road position (fourth on opening day) should have counted against him but he took lead from first stage, won nine stages on trot and kept his cool with mature, totally error-free drive despite Solberg chasing him all the way. Pajari scored his maiden win with style.

Hyundais fared better than expected but couldn't quite match the two leading Toyota's. Fourmaux (pictured) held his own against Neuville who started slow but began to chase Frenchman and seemed to overtake him but Fourmaux's time on penultimate stage saw him clinch third overall for good.

Sesks was fastest M-Sport Puma but he wasn't nominated so best scoring M-Sport was again Jon Armstrong (pictured). He suffered a puncture on first stage but fared better than McErlean who retired on second leg with electrical problem. Armstrong finished ninth overall.
