In a rally where first day decimated the entire P1 crew list, Pajari emerged least scathed. In full Toyota team Katsuta crashed on first stage and again on penultimate stage while Evans and Solberg suffered punctures and Ogier had two. Pajari's problems were tyre delamination and water leak but otherwise he stayed out of trouble and managed his lead until the end, scoring his third win in a row.

All three Hyundai's suffered in first day. Neuville destroyed his rear suspension and retired, Fourmaux was about to inherit lead when he punctured and Paddon also had puncture but lost less time. Fourmaux had spirited drive after this, he overtook Evans but Paddon (pictured) still finished ahead, second overall.

At M-Sport, Armstrong had full 360 degree spin on first day and damaged car enough to incur penalties for being late out of service. He later crashed on final day, leaving McErlean (pictured) as sole M-Sport finisher. McErlean had been as high as second after SS3 but faster drivers went past him before rally was over.
