Rovanpera was championship leader and started first on the road. This was thought to be a major handicap but he was second after first day which allowed a much better road position for next two days. He began to reel in leading Evans and went past after SS15, also winning PS to bag maximum points haul and third win in a row. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
Daniel Sordo

Part-timer Sordo enjoyed a good road position on first day but couldn't capitalize it, inheriting third overall after Neuville and Loubet hit trouble. On next two days he fought a losing battle with Katsuta and lost third place, only to regain it on final day with spirited drive. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
Pierre-Louis Loubet

Pierre-Louis Loubet was highest placed M-Sport Ford, although he was not nominated to score for the team. His luminary team-mate Loeb led for a while but went wide and retired. All other M-Sport Fords suffered at least one puncture and subsequently lost lots of time. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
