Ogier suffered minor problems early in the rally, having intermittent intercom on SS5, no hybrid on SS8 and 'lazy' setup on first day. But as these problems were corrected and Rovanpera rolled off on SS11, Ogier inherited the lead which he held until finish to score a record sixth win in Portugal. Ott Tanak

Tanak was generally the fastest Hyundai even though at one point Toyota held 1-2-3 ahead of him. But as Rovanpera rolled off and Katsuta suffered broken suspension, Ott jumped to second and pressured Ogier until the very end, even holding lead for one stage. Overall, Hyundai had strong rally as their reliability seems to be improving. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
Adrien Formaux

Fourmaux had a decent result, finishing fourth overall and posting relatively competitive stage times. He ran between Sordo and Evans most of the rally, having no danger from Evans and not being able to catch Sordo until Spaniard started taking it easy on final day.
