Citroen returned to competition after two rally absence and even with old car, Meeke made best of low starting position. He swept into lead which he never relinquished and scored his second WRC win with style.

Mikkelsen drove well, first battling with Sordo for 3rd overall but on final day he found another gear and passed Ogier for 2nd and full manufacturer's championship points.

Hyundai had varying fortunes. Paddon went off in SS5 and his car was destroyed in subsequent fire. Neuville drove for satellite team and ran out of fuel. Sordo (pictured) was best team's best placed driver in fourth.

Camilli showed flashes of speed from time to time and successfully defended fifth position from Latvala's attack despite spinning on power stage.
