The battle for the lead was again between Latvala and Hirvonen, this time on opposing teams. As Hirvonen was maybe a bit unfamiliar with his new car, Jari-Matti had upper hand.

Hirvonen tried as much as he could but was unable to prevent Latvala's win, which also was Ford's 80th WRC win.
