Ott Tanak

Tanak led initially in Friday until first Latvala and then Suninen snatched the lead away from him. Tanak regained the lead next morning and this time didn't give it up, driving a controlled rally to score maximum points and taking championship lead for himself and Toyota as well. Esapekka Lappi

Citroen's rally started with difficulties, Ogier slipped further and further away until he went off and got stuck while Lappi (pictured) had a high speed spin. On second day Lappi seemed unable to keep up with Meeke and Neuville but later found his mojo and ended rally superb second overall. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
Thierry Neuville

Neuville was only Hyundai that had competitive speed thoughout the rally. Loeb didn't enjoy proper rhythm and struggled with pace not problems while Mikkelsen, who was better placed initially, couldn't fight off Lappi or Neuville. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
Elfyn Evans

M-Sport is underdog of the season but (again) produced fantastic result. Early on Suninen was near or even on the lead until he went off and dropped well down the order. After that Evans (pictured), who also scored three stage wins, held on and kept hopes up for even a podium finish. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
