Kris Meeke

Before rally, VW boss Jost Capito predicted that Kris Meeke would win the event. With advantageous running position, steely determination and stunning skill, Meeke did just that. Perhaps his most impressive moment was incredible stage time he did on classic Ouninpohja. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
Jari-Matti Latvala

Latvala fought bravely but Meeke pulled away stage after stage. After Ogier went off, Latvala decided not to push anymore to secure maximum manufacturer's points for VW. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
Thierry Neuville
(Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window)
Neuville was engaged in a nail-biting fight with his team mate Paddon and early on also with Mikkelsen. Latter dropped down when he had to sweep but Neuville-Paddon battle lasted till the very end. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
Mads Ostberg

There were two best Fords. Best at the finish line was Ostberg who was only one to survive but by far faster was Ott Tanak, who again had to swallow bitter pill of retirement. Until then, his stage times were simply stunning. Click picture to see larger version in a pop-up window
