Toyota's 1-2-3-4-5 -result was only the second time in history of WRC when a manufacturer claimed all top five positions. Previously this has been achieved in 1990 Portugal by Lancia.
Interestingly, Toyota almost scored top-five sweep earlier in the season in Canarias but Pajari's crash prevented that.

Toyota scored 1-2-3-4-5 result with Rovanpera (pictured) winning, Katsuta finishing impressive second and rest of the Toyotas lining up after them. Rovanpera had not liked new Hankook tyres on gravel but drove well, gradually increasing his lead stage by stage.

Hyundai had plenty of problems. Tanak suffered from opening the road and on SS7 careened into a tree. He managed to continue but hit tyre scrutineer and was penalized five minutes on top of time lost on his off. Both Fourmaux and Neuville (pictured) were going well but suffered puncture on SS15, losing several places. Neuville finished as best non-Toyota while Fourmaux retired on PS.

Sesks was fastest M-Sport driver until his windscreen misted badly in rain and he lost two minutes on SS15. After that, McErlean (pictured) was honored with finishing as best placed M-Sport driver. As seventh overall.
