The distance shown on these lists is the planned stage distance and not the actual (ie. canceled stages are not subtracted). The reason for this is that for some old rallies route data is incomplete and would distort the results more than having planned distance now does.

Why three lists?
|
|
Because Safari and Ivory Coast routinely had by far longer route than any other event, they are featured on a separate list.
