Text is by Martin Holmes and photographs by Hugh Bishop or Holmes himself. Photography mainly black-and-white with several pages of color photos in an appendix.

Talbot Sport - competitions department
For a fourth time Holmes visits works competition department. At this time, Talbot's competitions department still was an independent unit operating in United Kingdom under Des O'Dell. First part of the article explains the history of the diminutive team and second part goes into its inner workings.
Thoughts of Cesare Fiorio
Fiat Group's Caesar continues Holmes' series of interviews of major rallying figures. Interview covers the Fiorio's early career in a surprisingly length, moves on to expansion of Lancia's rallying activities, gives a glimpse of Cesare's private activities like motorboat racing and briefly touches regulations and FISA with a somewhat critical tone. Interestingly, Lancia/Fiat rally activities are not covered at all. Perhaps that was interviewees wish.
A change for the better
An article about the then imminent change in FISA Appendix J, the homologation bible. Article starts by explaining the then current practise with old numerical groups 1 to 5 and various problems old homologation process had. Even if change to the rules is agreed to have been necessary, most of the article is then devoted to the problems that change brings about.
